Volantis Academy

For Part 145 & aerospace manufacturers

NDT training for maintenance organizations

Run EN4179 / NAS410-aligned training across your team: seats, records and audit-ready evidence in one place. Aerospace NDT is the catalog today, built with industry experts. Need training that does not exist yet? We build that course with you.

  • Seats 1-100 per purchase
  • Proctored exams · audit trail
  • Publicly verifiable certificates

The qualification matrix

Your qualification matrix, live

Built for the quality manager who has to answer an auditor's question in the room. Every technician you hold seats for, against every qualification they are working towards: certified, in progress, not started or expired, on one screen.

Expiry is a state of its own, not a footnote. A certified cell carries the year that certificate runs out, and a lapsed qualification turns into a red Expired chip with the month it lapsed, so recurrent training becomes scheduled work instead of an audit finding.

Training overview

Decisions from data, not from chasing spreadsheets

The overview is the first screen an administrator sees: how many of your people are enrolled, where those enrollments sit by course, how completions are trending month over month, and how much of the seat pool you have actually put to work.

  • Enrollments by course: see where the team is committed this quarter.
  • Completions per month: a trend line, not a single snapshot.
  • Seat utilisation: what you have paid for, against what sits idle.

Seats & licensing

Buy seats, assign them, move them

Licensing is a seat pool you buy per course, not a recurring subscription. Buy what the team needs, hand the seats out, and take them back when someone moves on.

  • Pools of 1 to 100 seats per purchase: you pay by card online and a real invoice arrives for your finance team.
  • Assign a seat to a technician, reassign it when roles change, and send the invitation by email with one click.
  • Unassigned seats stay in the pool: the licence card always shows how many are left to hand out.
  • Administrators move between the admin view and the learner view without needing a second account.

Exam integrity

Evidence that the exam was actually taken

Final exams are supervised while your technician sits them, and every attempt keeps its own record of what happened. The point is not to police your technicians. It is to give you something to put in front of an auditor when they ask how you know a result is genuine.

  • Final exams run supervised, with a countdown on screen; questions and options come in a different order on every attempt.
  • The exam notices when someone leaves the screen or tries to copy the content, and the technician sees the warning the moment it happens.
  • Three warnings end the attempt, so nobody can wander in and out of a final exam and still call the result their own.
  • Every warning, every submission and every certificate issued is recorded in that attempt's audit trail, alongside any retake an administrator authorises, so your results stand up to an audit.

Team insights

See who has stalled before the deadline does

You see the same progress your technicians generate as they study, turned into the three things a training coordinator actually acts on.

  • At risk: members flagged by days without activity, so a stalled enrollment shows up in week two rather than week ten.
  • Top performers: average exam scores across the team, useful when you need a candidate for the next level.
  • Drop-off per course: the module where progress stops, so you can tell whether the obstacle is the learner or the material.

Certificates & records

Records an auditor can check without asking you

Every passed exam issues a PDF certificate automatically, and every certificate carries a public verification link. An auditor can confirm it from their own laptop: no account, no email to your training coordinator.

  • PDF certificates are issued automatically the moment the exam is passed, with nothing to prepare by hand.
  • Each one is verifiable at campus.volantis.academy/verify, showing the method, level, issue date and expiry.
  • Expiry is tracked per certificate, so recertification windows stay visible in the qualification matrix.
  • Export the matrix and individual certificates as PDFs, straight into your quality records.

Training you cannot buy off the shelf

A course built for your operation, together

Some of what your technicians need is specific to your equipment, your procedures and the way your shop actually works. When that course is not in the catalog yet, we build it with you, and it then runs like every other Volantis Academy course.

  • Your specialists bring the operation. Our industry experts bring the syllabus, the exam bank and the instructional work, under the Volantis Academy brand.
  • The course runs with the same exams, the same training-hour records and the same verifiable certificates as the rest of the catalog.
  • Your seats, your roster and your qualification matrix stay in one place, whichever courses your team is taking.

Standards & scope

Training is not certification, and we never blur the line

Volantis Academy is a training provider. Certification authority stays exactly where EN4179 / NAS410 put it: with your organization's designated Level 3, working under your Written Practice.

Training ≠ certification

What Volantis provides
Syllabi aligned to the EN4179 / NAS410 training requirements, formal training-hour records per course, proctored exam evidence, and verifiable certificates of training completion.
What your organization keeps
Certification of your personnel. Your designated Level 3 sets the requirements in your Written Practice, reviews the evidence, judges on-the-job experience and vision testing, and signs the certification.
What we never claim
Volantis does not certify anyone, and is not an awarding body. Our records are an input to your certification process, never a substitute for it.

Alignment is to syllabus content. Formal hours cover instruction delivered on the platform; on-the-job training and practical examination remain with your organization.

Book a demo

See the administrator's view with your own headcount in mind

A demo is a working walkthrough of the platform: the same screens shown on this page, live, with room for the questions that actually decide a purchase.

What a demo covers

  • The qualification matrix, and how its records fit your Written Practice.
  • Exam integrity end to end: supervision, warnings, the audit trail and the retakes an administrator can authorise.
  • Seats and invoicing, and how a purchase reaches your finance team.
  • What a first pilot looks like (one method, one group) before you commit the whole roster.
