Inside a lesson

Lessons you work through, not slides you scroll past.

A lesson is built from parts you work with: theory you read, images you open to inspect a detail up close, and video that follows the slide you are on.

  • A lesson mixes six kinds of material, from reading to exercises you complete.
  • Video plays inside the lesson, and the notes appear as the video reaches them.
  • Images carry zones you open to inspect a detail up close.
  • Theory reads like a proper manual: tables, formulas and process notes, laid out to be studied.

3.3 · Hydrophilic remover

After the penetrant dwell, a hydrophilic remover is applied as a bath or spray at the concentration fixed in the process sheet. A pre-rinse strips the bulk of the surface penetrant first, so the remover only has to clear the residual film, not what has entered the discontinuity.

Remover contact time is controlled: over-removal pulls penetrant out of shallow indications before development.

Progress that counts

A lesson is complete when the record says so.

You can't skip ahead. Knowledge checks sit inside the lesson and answer back immediately, and a lesson counts only when you have actually studied it. That is what makes your record worth showing an examiner.

  • Quizzes run inside the lesson and tell you why an answer was right or wrong.
  • A lesson completes when you have spent 80% of its time and seen 90% of its content.
  • Nobody can mark a lesson done for you, so your record shows the time you actually spent.

Which penetrant removal method applies a separate lipophilic emulsifier directly over the penetrant?

  • AMethod A: water-washable
  • Method B: post-emulsifiable, lipophilic
  • CMethod C: solvent removable
  • DMethod D: post-emulsifiable, hydrophilic

Correct. Method B emulsifies the penetrant in place; Method D uses a hydrophilic remover after a pre-rinse.

The final exam

A final exam built to be taken seriously.

Each course ends in a timed exam under the same conditions for everyone: a countdown, questions drawn and shuffled per attempt, and limits on how often you can sit it.

  • The attempt is timed, with the countdown visible throughout.
  • Four question types, from single choice to multiple select.
  • Questions and their options are shuffled for every attempt.
  • Attempts are limited, with a cooldown before the next one opens.

After the exam

A certificate anyone can check.

Pass and the PDF is issued automatically, with a verification code printed on it. The public verification page checks that code against the training record: no email chain, no scan of a scan.

  • The certificate PDF is issued automatically when you pass.
  • A public verification page confirms the record for anyone holding the code.
  • Issue and expiry dates sit on the record, so you can plan your recertification window.

Pricing

One price per course, published up front.

No quote to request and no seat to negotiate for. The price on the card is the price you pay.

  • Priced per course

Each course carries its own price, set by its syllabus and its length. You buy the course you need, not a bundle around it.

  • First three lessons free

Every course opens its first three lessons in guest mode, before any payment and before any account.

  • Payment and invoice

You pay online and an invoice arrives with your receipt, the kind an employer will reimburse.

Before you enroll

What the training hours cover, and what they don't.

Included in the course

Formal training hours follow the published syllabus of the course you enroll in. Each course page states its own hours, and your lesson record shows the time you actually spent.

Stays with your employer

The on-the-job training and experience hours EN4179 / NAS410 require are logged by your employer, not by us. A course does not replace them.

Prerequisites vary by course: each course page states its own.
